Now, as most of you know, I have many lists&#8211;lists of games to play, things to watch, books to read, etc.&#8211;and I often find myself frustrated by how slowly I move through those lists. Furthermore, I also know that many of my friends and relations are frustrated by me constantly saying things like &#8220;It&#8217;s on my list.&#8221; As such, this year, I&#8217;m going to post a bunch of goals that I hope to get done in the coming year as well as stretch goals should I complete my current goals. I am also going to post a survey on my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/quingster\">Patreon account<\/a>, where my patrons can vote for what goals they want me to direct my efforts towards as well as suggesting other goals. So if you want some sort of input on this matter, go <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/posts\/16217116\">check it out<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, here are my goals for the coming year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finish playing the\u00a0<em>Batman: Arkham<\/em> series\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Finish playing all the games I own that begin with the letter B<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish my thematic summary of the Book of Mormon<\/li>\n<li>Finish reading\u00a0<em>The Book of Yokai<\/em> and make the appropriate adjustments to my bestiary\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Add stuff to my bestiary from another book (probably\u00a0<em>Pandemonium and Parade<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish reading the\u00a0<em>Faded Sun<\/em> trilogy\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Read something else (perhaps the\u00a0<em>Helliconia<\/em> trilogy?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish my blog post on Mormon Cosmology\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Write more stuff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish reading\u00a0<em>Self and Society in Medieval France<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Read\u00a0<em>The Waning of the Middle Ages<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Brush up on my Japanese<\/li>\n<li>Read\u00a0<em>Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Heber J. Grant<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Read\u00a0<em>Teachings of Presidents of the Church: George Albert Smith<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish making the text-based adventure I&#8217;m working on\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Start work on my next game<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Read all the webcomics on my list of webcomics to read<\/li>\n<li>Finish digitizing my filk packets\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Write some music (maybe that Christmas children&#8217;s rock opera I&#8217;ve been thinking about)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish reading\u00a0<em>Arabian Nights<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Read something else (maybe the\u00a0<em>Epic of Gilgamesh<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Visit another World Heritage Site\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Get in a position where I can visit Japan in 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish reading\u00a0<em>Go Forward with Faith<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Read something else (probably\u00a0<em>Kimball<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Get back to having a one-month buffer for <a href=\"http:\/\/quingcomics.com\/Chronicle\">my webcomic<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Get a two-month buffer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Read\u00a0<em>Women&#8217;s Work<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Read something else (probably\u00a0<em>America&#8217;s Ancient Forests<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finish watching\u00a0<em>Fringe<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch goal: Watch something else (<em>Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.<\/em>?)<\/li>\n<li>Side goal: Get through the second Doctor in my watching of\u00a0<em>Doctor Who<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And there you have it&#8211;an ambitious list. Hopefully at least some of these will get done.
